Many times around the house while I am making the family meal I find it handy to keep a towel tucked into my back pocket so I can always have access to it easily. Tuck the corner in the pocket with the majority of the towel hanging out to give you a quick hand wipe, especially when prepping veggies. The dryer your hands, the less likely you will be to have a knife slip.

Let's face it, most of us don't have much time to spend in the kitchen these days. There's always something to do, places to go, and people to see, and that doesn't include the time you spend at work. Takeout or going to a restaurant solves the problem nicely, right? As a short term solution it does, but as a long term solution it can be cutting off your nose despite your face.
