As any form of art, humour techniques evolve through time. Perception of humour varies greatly among social demographics and indeed from person to person. Throughout history comedy has been used as a form of entertainment all over the world, whether in the courts of the kings or the villages of the far east.

Going by the original definition, it would appear that everyone was alien to everyone else, since we all exhibit characteristics which may be defined as "strange" by other people (in the majority or the minority). Having various idiosyncrasies or peculiarities, and each prone to widely differing eccentricities qualifies every individual as "strange", one to another, especially since we all are capable of arousing "hostility or indifference" in the people we once "loved", had "affection" for, or were "friendly to" (and vice versa)... But the word also refers to an "extraterrestrial being" (a form of life assumed to exist outside the Earth or its atmosphere"). People who were ordinarily quiet would be seen pacing up and down office corridors, street corners or shopping malls talking and smiling into space, or shouting and pointing fingers, gesticulating menacingly at seemingly imaginary friends or adversaries.

Have you ever wondered why gang-bangers wear those big pants and they have to grab them when they start falling down? Well, the real reason that they started wearing them in the first place and the reason this fad got going is these shorts had a specific use. If a gang banger got into a chase in Chicago, Detroit, NYC or other high-rise downtown area, they could have the police chase them up the building and then merely jump off with their pants acting as a parachute.

Mouse. Mouse 2. Mouse 3. Mr.Bitey. Jr. Jeff. Princess. Elvis. DaisyMayRosesPrincessPiggy. What the? What are those? Those are names my kids and I have given our pets. At first glance, they might seem normal enough, but let me explain why they are not.

The pajama media represents itself as a unified front, but nothing could be further from the truth. There is more to this group than you might assume. A deep rift separates its two most powerful factions: those who prefer to blog in their nightclothes, and those who like to wait until they've showered, blogging in nothing but a towel.

A recent horseback riding trip took an unexpected turn - cowboy style, when I was visiting some friends in Liberia, Guanacaste. I had been slipping my friend clues for weeks to let him know I would like him to ask his friend, who owns a large farm near Barrio La Cruz, if we could go horseback riding one day. After agreeing to my request, the day had finally arrived.

This is one woman's experiece with trying to get a rat out of her basement. It's rats actually and me, a woman. Really, it's only one rat. I'm fairly certain of that.

As a Floridian I don't really ever truly experience winter weather. When my parents took me and my little brother up to North Carolina one winter, as we walked along the icy river, I slipped and nearly fell off a wall into the chilly river.

I was traveling to Paris last week with a very good and very very curvaceous friend of mine who'd left something very very crucial at home. This article discusses Branding and Customer Loyalty in a fun and entertaining prose.

After a life-altering accident I needed to leave the noisy metropolis and recuperate for a year in fresh air, beauty, and peace. I rented an ultra-charming storybook cottage in Carmel-by-the Sea where I wound-up on a First Date in Rat Cottage on Halloween.

Forget the use of torture to get terrorist suspects to talk. We should use modern medical technology.

A satirical article addressing a mouse in my desk drawer. Eighty percent of the people in America don't like their jobs. Where most people would say that it's because of being overworked or some other such nonsense (you're never truly overworked until you work for yourself!), I've found the real reason for their unrest.

Teenage Baptist put the scream in Halloween. When I was fourteen years old, my cousin Allen was seventeen. Because of the fact we only lived a mile and a half from each other, and the fact that we were only sons, surrounded by sisters, we grew up with the bond of brothers. I was included in a lot of things with Allen's friends, that no other fourteen year old around had the chance to do.

Running a small business is not easy at all, well that is not true, it is fairly easy until you need to hire your first few employees or put together a team or crew of people to help. Putting together the perfect work crew is impossible unless you are god. Not long ago, when the unemployment rate was 4.1% and there were no workers, my friend Bill, who owned a Hand Wash and Auto Detailing, said he had finally created the perfect work crew for his little shop.

Looking around, I noticed that an hour had elapsed yet I had not completely imbibed my beer. Others were ahead of the game, by far. They had already voraciously devoured their food and even though the drinks were two for the price of one until 7:00 PM, guess what? It was already 8:00 PM and those bacchants were still ordering drinks nonstop.
