RIO CLARO (Campeonato Nacional) - The six-team semi-final round of Brazil's Campeonato Nacional will feature Ribeirao Preto, Franca, Universo/BRB, Telemar, Ulbra/Torres and Rio Claro.

Ribeirao Preto, led by Brazil coach Lula Ferreira, progressed to the last six after sweeping giants Uberlandia in the best-of-five quarter-finals.

Franca needed Game Four to eliminate Joinville/Univille, Helio Rubens' team sealing the series on Thursday with an 81-70 victory, with 15 points apiece from Helinho, Rogerio and Fransergio.

Universo/BRB beat Ajax 93-87 on Friday to seal a 3-1 series win, while Telemar and Ulbra/Torres needed only three games to ease past Kelket/Basketball and Uniara/Araraquara, respectively.

Rio Claro were run the closest in the quarter-finals, winning the deciding game with Paulistano/Dix Amico 110-103 on Sunday, with Fernando top scoring for Jorge Guerra's men with 23 points.

The six-team round, in which all teams play each other and the best two qualify for the best-of-five finals, will take place at Franca's Pedrocao gym from Wednesday to Sunday.
