AMMAN (West Asian Championship) - Iran's U18 basketball team arrived in Amman on Sunday to play in the West Asia Championship.

Junior players from Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon will line up against each other in the event, which will last till Friday, May 19th.

The tournament will be a warm-up for Iranians, as they have already booked a berth in the FIBA Asia U18 Championship, to be held in Urumqui, China this summer.
