AMSTERDAM (World Championships Wheelchair Basketball) - In the forthcoming days, while coming closer to the Gold Cup 2006 tournament, approximately 1900 students of 29 schools (primary and secondary schools) in the city of Amsterdam will be introduced to our spectacular sport.

In mid April mr. Luc Vergoossen, coach of the Dutch national youth wheelchair basketball team, started to organize clinics during the regular classes physical education, assisted by some of his team members. First reactions of the kids were really enthusiastic.

During this practical classes the children are instructed in the most important Wheelchair basketball techniques, most of the time a real basketball game will be played at the end of each session.
