VALDIVIA (Libsur) - Deportivo Valdivia maintained their lead in the Lisbur league with a 94-64 win over Calbuco in the 10th round.
Twenty-three points from top-scorer Claus Prutzmann and 19 more by Lino Saez helped the table-toppers to a comprehensive victory over eighth-placed Calbuco.
This is the ninth victory in 10 games for Manuel Cordoba's side, who have 19 points, one more than their closest challengers and reigning champions Osorno, who defeated Llanquihue 92-85.
Osorno won thanks to a great team effort, led by Ignacio Collao and Cristian Perez, who poured in 16 points each. Llanquihue had scant consolation in boasting the match's top-scorer with Marquis Johnson, who netted 27 points.
Elsewhere Castro and Universidad Autonoma de Chile are level on 17 points after Castro edged fifth-placed Ancud 66-60 in the regional derby and Autonoma defeated second-bottom Lautaro 82-75.
Finally, Nueva Imperial climbed up to sixth after beating rock-bottom Carahue 80-49.
