CORRIENTES (Liga Nacional) - Argentina's Regatas Corrientes have made a managerial change with Carlos Bualo being replaced by Gonzalo Garcia (pictured) as coach.

Bualo left his post because he failed to reach an agreement with the club over his salary.

Garcia led Argentina in the FIBA U21 World Championship last year and is one of the assistants to Argentina coach Sergio Hernandez.

He surprisingly quit Libertad in February after a poor run of results. In 11 years with the Sunchales-based outfit, Garcia led the team from the third division into the top flight.

Regatas finished seventh this season before being eliminated in post-season by Libertad, who are now fighting for the Liga Nacional title in the finals against Gimnasia y Esgrima from Comodoro Rivadavia.
