Church Army, in partnership with Premier Christian Radio, has launched a new drive to aid churches in more effective mission.
A series of 15 advisory-resources has been launched by the two Christian organisations, put together by Church Army evangelists. The resources will be in an audio format to help churches develop an effective Christian presence in their community.
Churches have been invited to use the tips, developed as part of Church Armys Get Out More campaign, to make contacts with people who have little or no interest in the church.
Church Army is a society of evangelists linked to the Anglican Church but working outside church buildings to enable people to come to a living faith in Jesus Christ.
Church Army's Chief Executive Designate, Mark Russell commented at last months youth action weekend: “Church Army is at its best when challenging the church to get out of its comfort zone and its buildings. I really hope and pray that you will encourage your church to use the excellent resources Church Army have made available to help you to get out more to share the gospel through words and action in your community.”
Premier Christian Radio will support the initiative by broadcasting the series of easy tips for faith-sharing throughout August and September.
The CEO of Premier Christian Radio, Peter Kerridge said, “I think Get Out More is a fantastic concept. In a fast changing world the church must always be on the look out for new ways to communicate our faith.”
