Faith to Move Mountains: A Story Carved at Hole-in-the-Rock
Experience a tale that gives credence to the unbreakable will and tenacity imbedded in all mankind. Hop in the driver’s seat of a wagon scaling over mesas and plunging down across the Colorado River with the people behind the San Juan Mission. Adventure and hardship meet you at every bend.

Friday August 17, 2007 8:00pm at the Wahweap Campground Amphitheater.

Fates Entwined
John Wesley Powell’s epic journey on the mythical Colorado River forever changed the course of history and promoted development in one of the nation’s roughest and most scenic regions. Despite numerous obstacles, some successes and some defeats, the one-armed Civil War veteran and the Colorado River have forever forged their legacy into the American landscape.

Saturday August 18, 2007 8:00pm at the Wahweap Campground Amphitheater.

Evening Ranger Programs at the Wahweap Campground Amphitheater

The Wahweap Campground Amphitheater is in an outdoor setting, so programs are weather permitting. The programs themselves may also be subject to change. The Wahweap Campground is located in Wahweap, on Lakeshore Drive on your left after the four-way stop. Shuttle service from the Lake Powell Resort Lodge is available on request. It will be dark after the program, so you may want to bring a flashlight. For more information, call 928-608-6404.
