October 13, 2007 — Madrid Falls Tour - Visit Madrid Falls, the second highest waterfall in the state of Texas. Located in a very remote part of the park, you will be driven by four-wheel-drive vehicle and then hike two miles to falls. 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.; fees $72 Texas State Parks Pass members, $75 non-members; reservations required (432) 229-3416.

November 9-11, 2007 — Pictograph Tour - Visit some of the remote pictographs in the park. Participants must be physically fit for some serious hiking. 9 a.m.; fees include meals and lodging $344 Texas State Parks Pass members, $350 non-members; reservations required (432) 229-3416.
