Ben Barnes
Ben Barnes was plucked from a stage production of The History Boys to be the star of the Disney version of C.S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008). A graduate of London's Kingston University (2004), Barnes's early career featured a stint with a boy band called Hyrise and a bit part in the fantasy film Stardust (2007, starring Robert DeNiro). While on stage in The History Boys, Barnes caught the notice of a casting agent who led him to an eleventh-hour audition for the big-budget sequel to The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005). Tall, dark and power-chinned, Barnes landed the role and signed on for a reported three-movie deal as Prince Caspian.
