Posts $0.13 Q4 GAAP EPS from cont. ops vs. $0.04 loss on 8% total revenue rise. Sees FY 09 total revenue growth of 2%-4% in constant currency, reported growth of 5%-7%, GAAP EPS from continuing operations of $1.28-$1.35.

MONSANTO CO. (MON)

Says its has expanded the potential commercial availability of its Roundup Ready 2 Yield soybean technology by granting a global royalty-bearing license to Syngenta AG for use across its soybean seed brands. With Syngenta's agreement to terms for a Roundup Ready 2 Yield license, MON now estimates a potential available acreage for the product of 45M-55M acres in the US, or an increase of more than 10% over its original projection.

GAP, INC. (THE) (GPS)

Posts $0.34 vs. $0.22 Q1 EPS despite 11% lower comparable-store sales, 4.6% lower total sales. Reaffirms FY 09 GAAP EPS guidance of $1.20-$1.27.

FOOT LOCKER (FL)

Posts $0.14 vs. $0.11 Q1 EPS despite 2.9% lower same-store sales, 0.5% sales drop. Current Q excl. charges. Reaffirms $0.65-$0.85 FY 09 EPS guidance, excl. impairment charge.

ALKERMES, INC. (ALKS)

Posts $0.19 Q4 loss, $1.62 FY 08 EPS vs. $0.09 EPS last year on slight revenue rise. Sees $0.11-$0.16 FY 09 loss on $175M-$200M revenue. Baird reportedly downgrades to neutral from outperform.

ZUMIEZ INC. (ZUMZ)

Posts better-than-expected $0.05 vs. $0.06 Q1 EPS on 0.8% same-store sales drop, 14% total revenue rise. Reiterates FY 09 EPS guidance of $0.90-$0.93.

HIBBETT SPORTS (HIBB)

Posts better-than-expected $0.32 vs. $0.32 Q1 EPS on flat same-store sales, 9% total sales rise. Reaffirms forecast for $0.88-$1.00 FY 09 EPS base on same-store sales ranging between 0% to negative 3%.

BLACK BOX CORP. (BBOX)

Posts $0.48 vs. $0.37 Q4 EPS on 1.7% sales drop. Sees FY 09 revenues of about $1.0B, op. EPS of $3.25-$3.40. Stifel Nicolaus cuts target.

AEROPOSTALE, INC. (ARO)

Posts $0.26 vs. $0.18 Q1 EPS on 10% same-store sales rise, 22% total sales rise. Sees Q2 EPS of $0.22-$0.24. S&P maintains hold....See Pg. 4.

IXYS CORP. (IXYS)

Posts $0.17 vs. $0.05 Q4 EPS (non-GAAP) on 7.1% higher revenues. Sees Q1 revenues relatively flat with Q4.

JOURNAL COMMUNIC (JRN)

Reports that for fourth period ended April 27, 2008, total revenues for its Publishing and Broadcast groups of $35.91 million decreased 5.3% compared to $37.93 million reported for the fourth period ended April 29, 2007. For the fourth period 2008, advertising revenues of $30.75 million decreased 6.3% compared to $32.81 million for the 2007 fourth period.

WELLCARE HEALTH (WCG)

Says it is cutting workforce by 5% in response to changing business conditions and to strengthen its position as a leader in government-sponsored healthcare programs.

BUNGE LIMITED (BG)

Raises quarterly dividend by 11.8% to $0.19 from $0.17.

TRC COMPANIES (TRR)

Posts $0.26 Q3 loss vs. $0.04 loss on 3.1% revenue decline.

VERIGY LTD. (VRGY)

Posts better-than-expected $0.23 vs. $0.36 Q2 EPS on 11% revenue drop. Sees Q3 revenue of $170M-$180M, $0.24-$0.29 EPS.

DILLARD'S (DDS)

Posts $0.04 vs. $0.53 Q1 EPS on 6% same-store sales drop, 4.8% total sales drop. To close under-performing stores, reduce capital expenditures, reduce expenses, continue to change its merchandise mix.

MAGELLAN HEALTH (MGLN)

To be added to S&P SmallCap 600 after close of trading on date to be announced, replacing BRIGHT HORIZONS FAMILY, which being acquired.

OLYMPIC STEEL (ZEUS)

To be added to S&P SmallCap 600 after close of trading on May 27, replacing X-RITE, which being removed due to its low market cap.

II-VI INC. (IIVI)

To be added to S&P SmallCap 600 after close of trading on May 30, replacing SHAW GROUP, which being added to S&P MidCap 400.

INTUITIVE SURGIC (ISRG)

To be added to S&P 500 after close of trading on May 30, replacing BEAR STEARNS, which being acquired.

SHAW GROUP (SGR)

To be added to S&P MidCap 400 after close of trading on May 30, replacing INTUITIVE SURGICAL, which being moved to S&P 500.
