It is more than common for us, that we are being persuaded daily. No matter if by commercials or merchants. Most of us have accepted this reality and learned how to avoid spotting those mind control tries in order to function normally.

The topic under discussion here is one from which many psychologists and psychiatrists run away and yet it is central when it comes to the restoration and wholeness of an individual. When will the professionals face up to and confront men's basic fundamental need. Read and and contact me if I am wrong. Challenge me, because in this area I cannot afford to be misleading.

How do you respond when a manly man reveals deep emotions and perhaps even weeps in your presence? This is more than mere psychology. Here is reality which nourishes and satisfies and goes on doing so down through the years without having to be amended and updated.

Are you still trying to "listen to your gut feelings" and write "intuitive journals" to tap into your Intuition? How about a concrete definition of Intuition that is applicable in your life RIGHT NOW?

HINT: To complete the job, we also must plant something around the edges that will enhance the ego, such as a little envy or pride, or a nice grouping of judging and comparing, which works well for that very important overall look.

Indian "seers" also believed in multi-layered nature of consciousness, recognizing the discrete states of waking, dreaming, dreamless sleep and samadhi- the bliss that follows enlightenment. Dreams were understood in terms of meaningful opposites: thus, apparently happy dreams presaged disaster, while the worst nightmare could stand for better times to come.

Dreams were the way that the God's communicated with mere mortals. Demons terrorized mortals in the dream world, sometimes even going as far as stealing their souls.

Our 8 intelligences, 2 masculine and 6 feminine, link in a unique way to make us all different. This article helps us understand these 8 Intelligences in terms of ourselves and how psychology determines how well, or how poorly we use and/or develop those intelligences.

IN TODAY'S society, many experience loneliness. It affects people of all ages and of all races, social strata, and creeds. Have you ever been lonely? Are you lonely now? Actually, all of us at one time or another have felt the need for companionship-for someone to lend us an ear, to offer us reassurance or possibly to echo our deep feelings or inner thoughts, and to understand us as a person. We have a need for someone who is sensitive to our emotions.

A new vision and role is emerging in the field of school psychology, demanding a revision of the traditional 'tester/interpreter' to that of skilled and knowledgeable facilitator/leader in the area of Curriculum Based Decision Making (CBDM) and Response to Intervention (RTI). Curriculum Based Decision Making and problem solving assessment is a welcome change in education, which may help to address concern in the areas of the psychology/isolation of educators, teacher development, and trust required in order to successfully accomplish real change in an education system, most importantly, school improvement and student learning. In order to fully grasp the concepts required in the facilitation/supervision role, psychologists must have the more broad understanding in the fundamental areas of the historical perspective, problem solving, curriculum based decision making teams, tiered intervention systems, using research and reason in education, and getting started.

Understanding the color red and what it means in society, art, culture, and media, is a complex undertaking. You have to understand that the meaning of the color red comes from a variety of sources. On the one hand you have natural physical properties, such as the color of fire, or blood, which are common to all humans and which affect our psychological and emotional reaction to the color in similar ways.

The dilemma: Is it appropriate for me, as a person with disabilities, to tell others that if they provide these suggested accommodations, interventions, modifications, social skills training, medical intervention, etc., that a child will magically succeed or be happier, when I know, first hand, there is no truly happy ending for us? This is, and will continue to be, my personal dilemma.

I nearly fell out of my chair when I heard the latest commercial suggesting more medications could resolve the symptoms you still experience while on another medication. Maybe it is time to consider the alternatives.

First developed in 1966 by Joseph Weizenbaum, ELIZA was designed to provide a "parody of the responses of a non-directional psychotherapist in an initial psychiatric interview". Weizenbaum certainly never anticipated how easily people would be so willing to use ELIZA to discuss their most intimate personal problems. Give Eliza a try yourself, she may end up saving you a fortune in therapy bills.

Did Stalin order Dr. Vladimir Bekhterev's death? Some sources suggest that the eminent psychiatrist diagnosed Stalin as suffering from severe paranoia and advised him to resign (he had a reputation for being outspoken). Dr. Bekhterev's death's occurred that same day and no postmortem was held. Look at the facts and decide for yourself.

In my research so far I have come to the conclusion that the mother complex is more simply stated as child psychology or child behaviour. Which is behaviour grouped towards dependency on a parent figure.

I feel as if I am dreaming still. For in the abyss of transmission, I often fall short of the mark. I hail a cab so to speak, but it fails to pull over. I wait and anticipate as the signal has been sent. Instead, I am often used as a puppet, nothing more than funnel of regurgitated material that does little for me and nothing for mankind. (This is how I suspect some individuals feel during certain types of facilitated or agent supported typing?)

Because valid shelters will not allow clients to have their best friend in the house, I have witnessed many people continue sleeping in freezing cold weather. I have heard many claim all they need is a break, however, when that break was granted them, many continued to use alcohol or other drugs.

In fact, schizophrenic and psychotic patients are the biggest victims of violence and indifference. However, they can regain their mental, psychological and emotional health through dream interpretation, even though the process is very difficult and time-consuming. Everything is difficult when we have to deal with diseases as terrible as schizophrenia and psychosis.

When you see a dream where you are near the sea or swimming in the sea, it means that you are near the dangerous and absurd content of your psychic sphere that provokes craziness to your human side. You must be careful. My basic lessons of craziness prevention are given below...
